I HAVE 2 KICKERS AND 2 PUNTERS. IS THERE A WAY TO CUT THE LOWER RATED GUYS TO OPEN ROSTER SPACE?

Go to the Rosters page. If you see the Rescind Scholarship link on the same row as the player, you can cut him.
There is only a narrow window to do this ... the day after the national championship game to the day the season flips over to the next season (all teams will have 0-0 records).

For your Northern Iowa team in Heisman, here are the dates on which you will be able to cut players by rescinding their scholarships:
* Thursday, April 30 (starting just after midnight when Wednesday becomes Thursday)
* Friday, May 1
* Saturday, May 2 (ending at midnight when Saturday becomes Sunday)

Your first two cuts will, in essence, be free of any hit to your Reputation because the first two cuts will only drop your Reputation from an A+ to an A, but then your Reputation will go back up to an A+ as soon as the season rolls over on Sunday, May 3.

If you cut a third player (which is the max number of players you are allowed to cut in one season) then your Reputation will drop down to an A-, and then your Reputation will go back up to an A when the season rolls over on Sunday, May 3.

I should add that I have never noticed any discernible recruiting impact from such a minor difference in the Reputation grade.
