As was the case for the previous Franchise Draft Tournament, I expect to see some huge falloffs for successful round 1 teams as well as round 1 MVP and Cy Young players. I will provide one early season example below. (I have linked all the round 1 leagues to the Cardinals/Yankees round 2 league).

My round 1 Reds team
94-68 (best in league)
.591 exp winning% (best in league)
Lost 4-1 in World Series to 78-84 team
'24 Eppa Rixey 25-8, 3.57 ERA, Cy Young Winner

My round 2 Reds team
Started 0-10
Currently 10-19
'24 Eppa Rixey 0-5, 6.38 ERA

Don't you just love it when it seems like all your teams tank at the same time? For example...

Cardinals. Started 14-5, Recent 4-8
Cubs: Started 14-7, Recent 3-7
White Sox: Started 9-10, Recent 3-9
Dodgers: Started 14-6, Recent 3-8
Athletics: Started 13-6, Recent 4-8
Phillies: Started 13-11, Recent 0-7
Twins: Started 15-11, Recent 1-4
Reds: Started 9-13, Recent 1-8
Braves: Started 13-11, Recent 2-5

Totals: Started 114-80, Recent 21-64
In aggregate, these teams started out on a pace to go 95-67 (on avg). Since then, they are on pace to go 47-115. Fun times.

My 14 teams went from +20 (wins minus losses) to -10 in 3 days. Just a brutal stretch

That's a 48-78 run for those keeping score at home. Nine straight losing sessions.
