Slower tempo CAN cut down on turnovers.

Lowering the distro to those who contribute more than others to your TO's.

It'll lower the amount of turnovers but not necessarily the rate at which turnovers happen. Sometimes there is nothing you can do, but sometimes there is. If you have a team that has really good passing but bad ball handling then slow down should cut down on the rate at which you turn it over. On the other hand if your team has really good ball handling but bad passing running uptempo should cut down on your rate of turnovers. Of course this is all theoretical considering slowdown should be more of a passing offense while going uptempo your team makes less passes.

High IQ, and Ball handling/Passing.

Agreed, kmason, just offering the simplest "now" solution. I personally think slowdown and uptempo have the opposite effect of what you'd think. You'd THINK, running slowdown would give the defense more time to set up (bad against a better team) and uptempo would give them less time and relatively better shot attempts before the d can setup. Your turnovers would go down in uptempo, tho your percentage will be worse.
