Recruiting Distance - What's Up With That? Topic

When recruiting against a human Coach, is distance simply an advantage when it comes to recruiting action cost? Does the distance itself offer an advantage, in any way, to one school or the other based on proximity?

Thanks...

1-yes
2-no

But having an established "pipeline" between a high school area and college would be awesome....kinda like Arkansas recently accomplished with Mansfield, Texas.

I think it'd be cool if a team could get exposure by playing in a particular area. Say, if you played two away games in Florida, you'd get a boost recruiting Florida-based targets.

If recruiting on this site was like NCAA football games from the past, we would all have a lot more fun.

I am having so much fun just like it is that I shame myself from time to time, just thinking about it.

Use Phone Calls to find out if a recruit has a distance advantage. The recruit will say something regarding either they want to stay close to home (bonus to close team) or they will say they don't care where they play (no distance bonus).
