What factors are taken into effect for WIS Ranking. My Indianapolis squad in Camp D2 is #1 in both the press and coaches poll, plus I have the #1 SOS, yet I'm #2 in WIS rankings. Not complaining just curious on the logic of the rating.

I've looked into this before, and the most honest answer I can give is - it's complicated.  It's not a straight forward formula that I can say "oh, it's just X + Y" where I can just to point to something and tell you why the rankings are the way they are, and many times it leaves a lot to be desired when you use the eyeball test on the rankings, like in your case.  The Coach's and Press rankings are also very strange as they base the rankings on the past week's rankings to try to simulate real life.  If it doesn't get touched in the major update, rankings will probably be the next thing on the list to work on as it's a major source of frustration.

I have ignored the rankings except for casual amusement or a chuckle for years.
I hold this true in Wis and in real life; though real life is probably more accurate.
                         Who cares what some lists says. It's who is the last man standing that counts. 

But mojolad, I was #1 once....and I keep reminding myself of that.  :)  

You are exactly right...its just "fun factor".  The end of regular season rankings usually make decent sense, but there is no formula that can be devised that can really tell you which team should be "ranked" higher than another.  That is why we have playoffs, so that (in theory) the best team comes out on top.  2nd place is just the first loser.  LOL

I would bet the rankings are full of different bugs and calculation errors.  Even individual weeks can have errors that don't exist in other weeks which is how support explained it when it was discovered that Notre Dame was getting an incorrect inflated opponent win%. 

Problem is since we don't have access to how rankings are determined is near impossible to show where errors exist.
