We have four teams available in the amazing Erffdogg Memorial League. Heading into season 56, we still have multiple original owners, and a strong contingent who have been with us 20, 30, even 40 seasons.

Two teams that are available won their division last season (one in the AL, one in the NL). The other two openings are not in terrible shape by any means. Of the two division winners, the AL entry is poised to be strong for a long time; the NL entry is still very much a WS threat.

One small ask: for an interested VETERAN owner looking to take over the NL North champs: we are very much hoping you will be willing to keep the team in Cincinnati and call it Reds. The reason is that our League is named for its most successful owner, who passed away about 10 years ago.

(The Reds have historically been our most successful franchise (with 6 WS titles), and we want to honor him by keeping the tradition. The prior Reds owner was here 17 seasons, the last 10 in the playoffs (two titles). The team still has a playoff-quality roster.)

This is a special league and team, so we are hopeful to find the right new owner to join for the long haul. Site mail me for password.

Echoing what dilo says. Lots of history and tradition in this league, very active but experienced owners. Join us!

Here are the details on the three teams available:

1) NL East - Cincinnati Reds: 100-62, division winner. #31 draft pick. Still solid team within winning window.
2) AL East - 97-65, division winner. #29 draft pick. In good shape.
3) NL South - 69-93 (nice). #6 draft pick, poised for a rebuild with some talent in minors.

I'm currently living with a friend as my home has been without power for three days now. We're worried about the damage when we get back, especially to the solidly frozen swimming pool.

But the bad must be balanced with the good, and best news is my speedy centerfielder Ender Gonzalez won rookie of the year last season, so there's that at least.

Join Erffdog and you may have a speedy centerfielder of your own some day. Maybe skip the pool though. Put your pool money into college scouting instead. You can't have too many smart guys on your team.

This world is a great world. For old timers, if you don't remember Erffdogg and his contribution to the game, then you're not an old timer. If you are a new guy, then this world is great because it is fun. I've been in a number of worlds and played this game for over 12 years, but this world has always been the most fun.
