so i've been looking at the new messages of "i'm willing to stay" or "i'm gonna see what i can get in FA" and it looks to me like the guys looking to go FA are the ones more likely to be type A or B. it will be interesting next season to see for sure but i'm betting most if not all are.

Some GOOD players coming up in FA.

I signed a guy last night who would have surely been a type A. He was willing to stay. I had picked him up off waivers after he didn't get assigned and released.

A few days ago I was looking at my potential free agents for the next season, specifically one of my best players and his contract demands. I check a few mins ago and the demands are gone and there is a message saying he wants to see what the free agent market has to offer. Not too pleased about this development.

"With free-agency looming, I'm going to at least see what the market has to offer. Let's talk again in the off-season."

I like it.

When I first heard about the update, I went and signed guys to extensions. You should have done that.

I have 2 P coming up for FA, one of whom will be a Type A I think- both are still willing to stay.

I have 4 position players coming up, three of the 4 are willing to stay. Two of the three willing to stay would not be Type A or Type B. The third would be (I think) type A (80 OVR 1B). The guy who wants to test the market is a 78 OVR LF, so probably at least type B.

When mitch out-smarts you, maybe it's time to re-evaluate things.

This shows that its not going to be every type A to bolt. I really love this addition to the game.

i know.

has anyone had arb since tuesday's update? i'm curious to see if any arb-eligible players have refused a long-term contract. none of my eligible guys in moneyball are refusing a long-term contract, but none are both 5-year guys and extremely good.
