so the first year you stick with the team you chose then addl years draft players from all franchise ?

Love the idea. But comparing a team to the real one 4 or 5 years later when that team will be totally different to the one you are comparing it to isn't quite fair. Maybe determine the draft by the first 3 years of exsistance. If I took the 85 brewers more then 1/2 of the 85 team is not on the 87 team. Just a thought. Anyways I will take the Brewers.

That is correct clk. The first season is the franchise you select. Future drafts, all new players to the database are added to the draft pool. Remember also, when the league expands (for instance Florida and Colorado)...all players on those teams will automatically be on the expansion franchise. So, if you draft one of those guys or have one on your current roster...be prepared you will lose him.

You are likely very correct with that Hodags...I am good with only 3 seasons. Just want to give the first few seasons something to strive for...particularly the weaker teams. I knew you would hop in with the Brewers...should have signed you up for it right away. You have the right idea..take a team you love..that is why I needed to take the Expos

I like this idea a lot....let me put some thought to see if I can commit to something long term.

How about this sload...I'll put you down for the Pads for now...and if you want to back out, not a problem. Rather see guys get the teams they want and not be disappointed later.
