I can never seem to beat FB press teams even with superior speed and stamina, so I was looking for some advice on how to beat these types of teams. Thanks for the help

I beat them by being faster and better then them. I run press/motion. How can they trap you if ur faster? I always run normal tempo. I also love it when someone runs uptempo on me seems like they turn it over

I used to have that problem, then I began to use my best ballhandlers, passers and defenders against them.
The results have been pretty good for the most part.

It seems like I always have a ton of turnovers against these teams even when I'm faster and using solid ball handlers. Is there just something that I'm doing wrong?

If the pressing team isnt very deep you can play slow down and tire them out?

slowdown is like a magic bean versus the fastbreak

Thats why i said I use it unless im just a better team then I run normal. I quit running uptempo even against inferior teams. It has worked out better

I run uptempo to limit passing, but I think the key to beat these kinds of teams is stamina. I always switch my depth chart to "fairly fresh"when playing against fb/press teams.

I play Pepperdine twice a season and have faired well against pepperdine every season by playing like that. Even when Pepperdine has good seasons.

The two keys I seem to notice to doing well against a press are stamina and a high pass rating - and not necessarily just among the guards.

I see a lot of coaches saying stamina is key. I guess my question is, is there a situation where having great stamina is NOT a plus? I mean, seems like a no brainer here.

Pray you're on the right side of the RNG.

Is it just me or has Admin re-adjusted things so that Press teams don't fatigue as quickly as they did after they made that adjustment last year?

They re-adjusted that not even a month later once everyone switched out of press. Sort of like after they 'slowed down' potential, they have recently slowed it even more without announcing it. They are always trying to mess with stuff. A few months ago I could still get 20+ improvements on a season if I put 40 or so points into it. Now, I am lucky to get 8-10 points a season with high potential and 30 points in it.
