Is this guy going pro? Topic

In all of the seasons that I've been coaching DI, I've only had only player leave early. I'm approaching the end of the regular season in Wooden and am wondering if my starting JR SF will be next. His ratings are below. For the season, he's averaging 13.7 PPG and 6.3 RPG.

I'm hoping that he'll be back for his SR year, but wanted to see if I should prepare for him to leave after this season.

I don't think he will.

*I always like these posts and the trying to guess what happens.

If you get to the Sweet 16, he's gone.

his non-90's defense rating may help, but if you have any type of NT success, he's probably gone

I agree with the previous two posters. I've had great players stay and mediocre players leave early, and it seems to tie in heavily to tournament success. If you make it to the Final Four, he will leave and take half of your other underclassmen with him!

With the sub 90 d my prediction is he stays.

He also stayed, tho the first round loss in the NT his Junior year probably helped.

The key to me is what it said in his scouting report during recruiting "Somewhat related, this kid is the consumate team player, looks like anything we'd want him to do, he'd do it."

That must have had something to do with it. No one was more surprised than me when he stuck around tho...

That had nothing at all to do with it.
