Every player in the WIS Database is available to be drafted into the League.
You can start your Drafted Players career in their first $5 million + WIS database Season ($ 3 mil+ WIS listed relievers) so that everyone you draft should be usable.
(You do have the option of starting your players careers with an earlier cheaper season if you'd prefer.)

Ruth, Joss, Gehrig, Mantle, Cobb, Hornsby, Delahanty, Walter Johnson, Mathewson, Koufax, Gibson, Foxx, Honus, Maddux, Pedro, 3-Finger Brown, Puljos, Ted Williams, Musial, Dimagio, you name it. Drafted players then progress each year of their WIS careers. Keep 15 and Cut 10 Players each Year.

* The idea is to make this League as fun, fresh, and interesting as possible from season to season. If someone drops out of the League, there will be TONS of options for a new owner to be competitive immediately.

* Keep 15 Players- Draft 10 new players.

* Season 2- Draft other Rookies not yet selected, (Same criteria as above. You can have your player start in his 1st WIS Season $5 mil+, $5 mil+ and $3 mil+ or less if you prefer). You can Draft any Cut Players not Kept on someone's 15 Keeper List, or Draft any Free Agent Players that have been previously Drafted & Cut that will be progressing from season to season of their WIS careers as Cut Free Agents.


*All Cut Players become Free Agents- Cut Players will be tracked in a Thread as to what WIS season they would be in from season to season and may be re-drafted by anyone as free agents in any upcoming drafts.
I'll keep a Master Excell Spreadsheet of all Drafted players and Cut Free Agents by what season they are in from Season to Season. I'll list everyone's Roster & seasons in draft and update it each new season.

The Basics:

$140 Mil Cap ($160 Mil being considered as of 11/22)
6/2 average AAA for filler.
Partial Seasons are allowed.
15 Keepers each season.
50 Live games required.
(failure to meet min. will drop you 5 Draft Slots)
Draft Order Each Season will be set up based upon your 15 Keepers Salaries,lowest total salaried teams will Draft first. There should be so much talent out there each season that we should all be able to add 10 pretty darn productive players (or future studs) to our teams each season.

Random Alignment each season.
Trades OK pending normal League veto.
Stadiums- Unique, ANY in History.Stadium Draft will be conducted in reverse of the Draft Order at the end of the Draft. You may switch stadiums for any new season to any unused stadium. Simply post or sitemail me that you would like to switch to said stadium and it's yours. First switched, first honored.

I was in a league like this but dropped because they allowed players who had finished their careers re-enter into draft. That meant players with short careers could be used over and over again.

I didn't see that addressed in the opening post.

Definitely am interested in playing if players seasons can't be repeated.

szcubs- No repeats once the player's career is over. They may be cut, and will then be kept tabs onto what season they would be in as they progress and may be redrafted (say a player is cut to avoid a mediocre season 4... that player can be redrafted by anyone in season 6 of their 6th season) So there could be a lot of new players coming in & out season to season. A lot of possibilities ot there.

This League is designed to either Peter out after 20 or so seasons, or dip into more lesser used players like the Garveys and Ceys of the sim and modern rookies once all the Super Mega Stars have come and gone...

If we can keep it going I like the peter out version myself.
