I'll be a wildcard in the playoffs but will be without the servces of my #3 pitcher who is out for 29 days with 4 days in the regular season, so when the post season starts he will have 25 days .

Although we are a wildcard team we have the 2nd best record in the NL and the best since the all-star break after the addition of a key bat so I have high hopes that we can make a deep run.

How many days are in the playoffs? Will he be ready for any of the series?

First round = 8 HBD days.

Second round = 8 HBD days.

Third round = 10 HBD days.

Fourth round = 10 HBD days.

So your guy should be available for the WS if you make it that far.

Injury mid playoff series. Placed said injured player on the 15 day DL. I'm stuck with a 24 man roster until the series is over, then I can add a playoff eligible player to the playoff roster, remove the player on the DL. Correct?

That really sucks. I've had three defensively solid MLers go down in the last 40 days of the season, so it looks like I've got to go with a weak defensive CF.
