in an extra inning game - albeit with a limited bench and an injury to my C in game - my pitchers (on average frequency PH settings) came in to PH for my other pitchers 4 times - is that normal?

If they're considerably better hitters, and the situation warrants it (runner in scoring position, late, etc.), yes. I've seen it several times.

I have all al teams but when my pitchers hit they usually do great. I had a sp go 4-4 with the game winning double in the eighth.

do you know if that effects there health % i would assume there's a very minor risk of injury - curious if it slows their recovery before their next start?
