If I withdraw a scholarship offer, will I be able to re-offer the same player if I'm unable to land anyone better?

I have 2 scholies available and I've got them both offered out, but it cost me less than I anticipated so I want to see what else I can get with my over cash before I settle on the current guy. I just don't want to **** him off and risk losing him if I can't get anything else.

I've found it depends on the player somewhat but cornfused is correct that you see an "anger" response of some magnitude.
