thats not how it works... you need to get 2,000 reward points to get a free season.

Ok, thanks. I thought you could redeem them for 40% off of your next season but apparently you have to earn 2,000 points and get a free season in the process.

You can use RP for GC now. Since you deleted your first post I have no idea what the question was to start with but you could save a small portion off of the cost by sending yourself a GC.
