D2 - Kennesaw St - Just took Over

I have a SR/PF that has decent attributes, but horrible stamina (46).

On the flip side, I have a SO/PF that has lesser than attributes as the afore mentioned SR/PF, but can last a lot longer (86).

I have started the SR the first 2 games of the season, but I am used to leaving my starters in for 20+ minutes a game. The first game, the SR played 11 minutes having him at Fairly Fresh. Changed him to Getting Tired and he played 16 minutes.

Just curious what others would do or have done in the past in regards to whom should start.

Start the best player possible and play at getting tired.

kendrik, I think "getting tired" is a good setting for a starter, especially if he's stamina-impaired. You might even try slowdown, with "tired", if you think the starter is much better than his sub. Looking at their ratings, I think "getting tired" is warranted, but "tired" may be a stretch, as the backup is not too much less talented than the starter. That 77 SPD for a D2 PF is nice, though. Good luck.

Assuming you have backups that you want to give court time to, a low-stamina guy can be a blessing. They're pretty rare these days.

I agree with jskenner, though, if it's a guy who's much better than the backups--"getting tired" is a good setting for a low-stamina starter.

one thing that can bite you... if you have a low stam guy set to GT... and then you go slowdown... if the other team goes slowdown... all your players may be on the court until they are dead-red. There are less dead balls/min to substitute in fresh players... when I have to play slow alot with a team I usually put my low stam guys to fresh just so they don't get stuck in a game and not be able to get them out.

Fairly fresh for the stamina impaired guy. Trust me, by the time it takes them to sub him out, he'll be at getting tired.
