omit the feature regarding the Rule V Topic

Can anyone clarify what this means?

I was just wondering the same thing. They make it sound like they are eliminating the rule 5 draft, which I figure is not true.

Not sure why I'm doing this but the follow will not be part of the update:

Rule 5 players that are accepted back will no longer cost you $327K in player salary if you accept the return providing the following stipulations are true: The player was NOT assigned to the ML roster and the player was NOT added to the 40 Man roster. If these conditions are met, the player's salary will revert back to what he was making prior to the draft.

In other words, your R5 drafted players will come back to you at 327K regardless of what happened to them after being drafted.

To clarify (and hopefully **** Mike off):

On 10/6, ADMIN announced a number of changes that would be included in the 11/3 (i.e. today's) updaete. One intended change involved R5 accept back and salary.

When the updaete went in today, this previously announced part of the change had been pulled from the release.

Yes, that is correct the following feature was omitted from the update:

Rule 5 players that are accepted back will no longer cost you $327K in player salary if you accept the return providing the following stipulations are true: The player was NOT assigned to the ML roster and the player was NOT added to the 40 Man roster. If these conditions are met, the player's salary will revert back to what he was making prior to the draft.

Sorry for the confusion.
