I had this guy in my minors and received plenty of decent offers for him but could never pull the trigger because I thought he was going to be a solid pitcher. He has some average to above average pitchers across the board (except one). The only thing I really regret is how I kept him AAA for so many seasons. Now I don't understand why he is doing so bad? If anyone could explain why that would be great, thanks.

He's giving up way too many homers. I'd lower his pitch count. Maybe 70-75.

Small sample size.

Lower his pitch count to 5, I bet he barely gives up any more HRs.

It could be a case of everyone having tons of LH hitters in AAA. Long pitch count and quick hook is my suggestion.

To hatt11's point. throw out 2 atrocious starts, and he's fine. His season stats are ERA 5.62 and a 1.61 WHIP, but in his last 7 starts over 38.1 IPs, he's 4-0, with an ERA of 3.28 and a whip 1.35. 5 HRs allowed in that span is not great, but I doubt that lowering his pitch count is going to fix a situation where 4 of the 5 have come in the 4th inning or earlier. He gave up one in the 7th, that knocked him out.

I think he's fine, but if you're going to take some advice, knuckle's makes more sense to me.
