Well my plan is working fairly well in IBA with my SUNY Farmingdale team, sitting at 8-1, because of the all SIM AI schedule. I'm figuring that I will hit the mark of 20 wins no problem this season, which should, I believe, allow me to grab a D2 team. However, I am looking for a good conference to join, that is active, because it will take many seasons to jump to D1, unlike the one succesful season it takes to jump to D2. So any suggestions?

The Great Lakes Valley Conference has five teams that are very strong every season...Bellarmine, So. Illinois-Edwardsville, So. Indiana, Indianapolis, and Wisconsin-Parkside. It's a great group!

We'd love to have you in the CCAA. There are a lot of long term coaches there.

the Central Atlantic is where its at. We only have 1 opening every year, but nick looks to be gone so we may have 2 soon. We are always one of the best, if not the very best conf. We send over half the conf to the post season every season so as long as you can win 8 or so non conf games and go about .500 in the conf you'll be in the post season as well. Not to mention its a great area with loads of local recruits (ny/pa etc)

Come to the Gulf South if you want to build a winner fast. There are 7 teams to pick from and the recruiting is fertile in the South. Or you could go to one of the conferences above and be a perennial whipping boy. Your choice.

I've always wondered if one of those teams is coached by an alias of yours.

I enjoyed the CCAA for many seasons. It's always competitive and a top conference. Plus the coaches corner can get fun from time to time.

The CVAC has been really strong the past few years.

While Delta State is on the rise, I need some competition in my conference. I've dominated it like Gonzaga dominates the WCC in real life of late.

Great Lakes Valley in IBA is still one of the best conferences I've ever coached in...
