I spent time, energy & money on recruiting a player for this season who went to a JUCO. If I recruit him again next season will my past effort help me this time around? He was a close recruit when I recruited him he is now playing JUCO Ball across the States. I don't want to recruit that distance unless I already have a foot in the door. Thanks for any help.

Unless it's changed in the last few seasons, you do get partial credit for recruiting him. I think it's about 25% but I'm not positive.

Also, the distance should revert back to his hometown, not to his junior college

I think the distance of the Juco is based on the location of the Juco, not the high school hometown.

I've signed Jucos that were within 100 miles and when they show up on your roster the original hometown is listed, which may be 1000+ miles away.

It appears that you're correct, Iguana.

Odd, though. I remember, in the early seasons, coaches complaining because players they'd recruited in H.S. were suddenly very far away. I thought WIS had changed it but, apparently not

al, they recently (a RL year or so ago) changed it FROM HS distance to JUCO distance.

They really should... Maybe JuCo's should have 2 recruting locations? Both their JC and Hometown? That would be an interesting way of increasing battles maybe?

Is this situation related to a team under an alias of yours? Ineligibles do not go JUCO at the DIII level.
