Why do we get suggestions on here for things like holiday breaks or newbie leagues?

Do people really want to sit around arguing that a holiday break is a great idea when WIS would lose money by doing that? Last I checked, WIS isn't in business to lose money.

Is developing a whole new system to be friendlier to newbies sound like a better idea than catering to current customers who likely contribute an overwhelming majority of revenue for HBD?

Sure keeping new players is great, but does anyone even know the reasons why they quit playing? It's probably better to study that first as people may quit playing simply because they're not interested in the game or simply don't have the time.

The bottom line is that WIS is interested in the bottom line and suggestions like these will cost them money they'd likely never get back. That's not how you run a business, just ask any good business owner.

Do you run a business? I do.

Losing half a dozen days a year isn't going to put them out of business. You may have not noticed but there are about 20 worlds looking for owners right now. If waiting for that revenue doesn't put them out of business, extending a season from 87 to 91 days isn't going to do it either.

Increasing your customer base is a goal of every business. If you don't think brining in new money is just as important as keeping old money, you really should just put your paper hat back on and say "Would you like to supersize your order?"

No, it doesn't (love the grammar in the first paragraph BTW). There are a bunch of people who are hard core players and they should be catering to them, their ideas, and suggestions - not some punk who is a one and done player because they got a free code.

One day of not simming games is not going to cost the company a material amount of money. A good business owner listens to their customer and makes improvements to the service they are offering and in turn, make more money - not less.
