Absolutely agree, this season at Syracuse, I had over 60K . I got my primary targets really cheap. I could have stretched and battled a few other high prestige schools for players that I might have preferred, but they all were closer to those players and had more open scholarships. I think i have been building that little war chest of mine for 4-5 seasons now. That's not to say that if you are carrying over that much that you may have undershot, but each recruiting season is unique in terms of your needs, those of the schools surrounding you, the prestige levels, the carry over money, the NT and PT money, the # of open scholarships, etc... I don't think you can make a blanket statement and say that you should spend all of your money in any one season. That seems a simplistic approach.
