Why generate players this bad Topic

What is the purpose of generating players that are this bad? Are walk-ons placed on teams from the remaining unsigned players or generated after signings are over? I ask becuase the worse player I can see in DII is rated around 380. How is this player suppose to help a A+ prestige DII team in practice?

No, the walkons are random.

I've always wondered why a D1 level recruit didn't walk on at a D1 program after signings were over. Sure, they could go JUCO as well, but I would expect quite a few of them to show up on campus.

If this were the case, it would actually make it a possibility that some of these players would get signed to scholarships.

And since that happens in RL, it'd only add to the realism.

In all honesty, I think the average high school player is as good as this guy.

What's 12 speed equivalent to, a 5.5 40?

What about 9 BH and 1 Passing? A HS backup center?

George Perles could still beat this guy one on one today.

Where did you go to high school because those numbers are terrible even for a back-up PF?

I agree with this. Right now, the walk-ons at DI are usually guys you wouldn't even want on a DIII team. It would be helpful if there were at least borderline DI or DII guys that weren't signed. You could even incorporate Childhood Favorite to determine where they would go (might as well make some use of this).
