I just got an assesment from my assistant coach that I've never seen before, he said the player's potential in an area was "sky's the limit." I'm taking that as meaning super high and will likely cap regardless of his rating.

On another recruit he rejected my HVs, but accepted CVs and put me on his list. Is that fairly common in D1, because I've never had that happen before. I mean I guess it's not a big deal since he put me on his list, just found it odd.

I believe "sky's the limit" is the assessment for a potentially 30+ gain in Lowpost.

On the home visits you still can see recruits reject an occasional home visit. You have the choice instead of doing 2 home visits at once, do 1 home visit and another home visit in the same cycle. They usually will accept at least one of the trips if they're considering you.

I just did a preliminary search for recruiting. . and for my division three team a division one transfer player shows up. . . when doing a search among division three players.


I find this a little odd. Granted, he wouldn't be a good division one player by any means, but he could be a lights out stone cold killer at division III. . .

Has anyone else ever even seen, much less landed, a division one transfer at a division three school?

Yeah, I signed a PF SR who was a sim ai recruit by holy cross or something years back. He was dominate for div III came in and gave me 17 PPG, 8 rebs and 1.8 blocks on 49% shooting.

Yes I signed a senior that was cut from Texas as a D3 school with a C prestige. He sucked for the Big 12 but was my best player.
