I have my Auto-Adjust tempo set at NEVER.

My losing late settings are:

When losing by 10 or more points with 1 minutes remaining, run Triangle offense at a Normal tempo.
My intentional foul settings are:
10 or more points with 1 minute remaining
So what happens?
New Mexico Highlands is playing a spread offense and a man to man defense (-2)
Armstrong Atlantic St. is playing a triangle (uptempo) offense and a man to man defense (0)

If the sim is going to circumvent my game strategy, then why even play? The strategy is arguably correct, however that's not what my settings say to do, and after all, who's the coach of the team?

Is the issue the intentional foul? Or is the tempo a problem too?

The intentional foul took place when the shot clock was turned off. I'm guessing (and would hope) that the intentional foul settings are only in effect when there is a shot clock. If you are down and the shot clock is turned off, you got to foul or otherwise concede the win to your opponent.

it looks like it did everything right, except to switch to uptempo with 30 seconds . i know WIS has tinkered with those end game settings a number of times, so maybe that was intentional. maybe they ignore your auto adjust tempo settings with less than 1 minute ? it seems somewhat reasonable, i don't know that i consider it a problem.

I believe you are correct. The rational being, why would you run a normal tempo if you are more than a basket behind that late.
