Just trying to plumb people's brains. .I had been thinking of using Rollings as my Small forward. . . .but does anyone see a player that looks like a better small forward on the roster?

Right now I have:
PG: Clay/Wilkes/Stone

SG: Baird/Pierce/Stone

SF: Rollings/Pierce/

PF: Siders/Pilger/Osowski

C : Burkes/Williams/Osowski

I might prefer Clay there because of his reb advantage, and Clay is slow to play pg. Also, there is somewhat of a positional penalty for playing Rollings at sf.

It's a tough call because Clay is your best pa/bh. I could see that going either way.

At sg, it's also a tough call, but I tend to like Pierce over Baird. He's got an enormous advantage at ath, is a much better passer and has him at A- to B- in press iq. Baird is also a 61 sta, I don't know if you can use him much at all in a fb/press, let alone as a starter. Also, Baird is a 13 we, he's going to improve very slowly, so unless Pierce is maxed out, I'd like to see him get more minutes. The more I look at it, I don't think it's even close.

And I wouldn't start Burks at center. His 43 reb is gonna really hurt you. I'd be more likely to go with Pilger, he's got a big reb advantage, and a nice press iq advantage, and they're fairly comparable everywhere else.

PIerce really blossomed last season, but he's a rather bizzare collection of ratings, and I have never been entirely sure what to do with him> I gave him SG starts last season late and the last 7 or eight games he averaged major points. He also got to the Free throw line quite regularly when given distribution and a minus one shooting setting.



If I did take CLay at SF, who would you put at PG, is what I am trying to figure out, I had been sort of defaulting to Wilkes. And yeah, Baird was a mistake. He does have some perimeter, which I am rather low on.

And Clay was my backup small forward last year. He actually shot better than it looked like for most of the season. he has a couple rancid games right out the gate before righting himself. I can say that would be the highest BH/Passing I have ever had at SF.

Thanks for the suggestions. Its early, but through two exhibitions and one regular season game, Clay seems to be doing quite servicably as a Small forward.

And PIerce had a nice game as a SF< causing the opposing shooting guard to foul out.
