I'm going to give him a try in an OL. Anybody had any success, or seen him used? RL stats are pretty stout... Is he worth the 9 mil?

The Performance History will tell you things like this, and you won't have to worry about getting yelled at by thugs like Boogerlips. Wait, no, that was me. And Boogerlips.

Hack s Performance History

You'll see he's been used 7 times in Open Leagues since 10/2008, that he's been used in hitters' parks, and that even his "worst" season is pretty great, offensively.

I think you can do much better for 9M.

1930 is not the best year to draft hitters.

But hey, give it a shot.

You gotta realize his D is not good and only has a AVG+ (my favorite stat) of 117.

I think there is a great Dimaggio in there with real good AVG+/Defense and you save yourself 200K.

If you are gonna drop 9.5M on someone in an OL he better be able to carry the squad.

not even close, you can find much better values for the money.

One thing to notice about Hack in the performance history is that he's not likely to approach his 56 home runs.

One of the Gavvy Cravaths may be a better shot if you want someone with a chance to hit 50 dingers (and Cravath is a lot cheaper...)
