My apologies if this question has already been asked. I was reading the Colgate "How could I possibly lose this guy?" thread (there was no way that I was going to ask this on that thread as someone likely would have just called me a $%#%# or asked me about notes from mommy). I digress...
Anyway, when trying to value prestige, specifically battling a better school, should I be looking at prestige advantage = # of home visits or number of campus visits instead of prestige advantage = % spending? I originally thought that battling for an international recruit would be a more level playing field (minimizing prestige advantage because everyone has to spend more to recruit).
Now I am thinking that it actually is the reverse (I need to have X% more home visits/campus visits than a higher prestige team which widens the $ disparity even more for an international recruit). Or is it really all the same thing and I just do not know how to recruit?
