Curious more than anything (can't wait till the tourney is over).

I am at Arkansas, Little Rock. Took over a D- team w/ a lot of schollies to offer.

First season was bad - won 5

Second Season was better - 14-14 and moved to a D

Third Season was a disappointment 13-14

Fourth Season was stellar - 29-3, #3 ranking (will drop) a National Player of the Year and a Sweet 16 appearance.

I have 7 players returning next season.

1. Can someone hypothesize what my prestige will rise too?

2. Can someone hypothesize the type of job I will qualify for?

3. Should I stay and coach the 7 players I have and put all my money into 2 or 3 recruits then bolt or leave after this season?

thanks,

bugs

I would think at least a C- or so. But I am not an expert.

Also I would bolt as fast as I can!
You have your only double figure scorers leaving after this season both scoring 20+ a game. I don't see why you would stay when your top two offensive leaders are gone.

Well...I did the scoring like that on purpose. I didn't know what to expect. Figured I could at least aim for a player getting drafted :) He should considering he was the NPOY, but then again, I have seen some studs go undrafted.

Look at season 18-19

If you look at season 18-19 they are in the same conference as you and have a D- and they went to a C- with just a NT birth not even a win like you, and they were not ranked.

I think C- is the right call. I don't think you're going to be able to qualify for any jobs that are terribly interesting, because this is your only good season in that four-year window.

I don't think you can really you can try to forecast whether you should leave or stay until you see what jobs are at there that you can qualify for. It sounds pretty clear that you want to get out of Ark-LR, so with that in mind, I'd say if there's a job that looks good to you, go for it. If not, I'd reload with a couple strong recruits, combine those with the six seniors you'll have and make another NT, which will open up more jobs.

Stay! Coach UALR to a championship! Go Trojans!

Sweet 16 always gives you huge bump for new jobs. The difference between 25-5 1st round exit and 25-5 sweet 16 in the eyes of WIS AD's is massive.
