Two possibilities, the level of competition must of improved or the sim engine has been tweaked not to the benefit of your player.

Definitely not caliber of opponent because I have unfortunatley played a very weak schedule this year, killing my RPI.

7 games isn't an adequate sampling.

I have a team where my senior SF was shooting 18% after 6 games. Later he had a 7-game stretch where he hit almost 70% and , now, he's over 50% for the season

Did you graduate strong post players this past season? If they are taking on a larger share of the offense or facing fewer minus defenses his percentages will suffer.

Also, it is still early in the season, if you take out the awful game he had against Misericordia (where he was guarded by a faster SG with a 75 DE) his percentages aren't too far out of line with his career norms.

Welcome to HD, where most senior SGs can't hit the broadside of a barn.

Its D3 and the teams you are facing whether you think so or not are pretty good defenses. Look at Bates every game they played.

They may be 1-6 as a SIMAI school, but they hold everyone to 30% shooting except for the 16th ranked team who lit them up for I think it was 45%.

Just because a team looses every game does not mean they suck on defense it just means they are not as good as the teams they are facing. So you could be winning but it doesn't mean they are not shutting you down somewhat at your two best players; SG and PG.

EDIT: Also it looks like you lost your big men inside last year? Your senior Cs/PFs were probably drawing the attention away from your backcourt that is now getting the full attention of defenses, even SIMAI would know they are your best players.
