How negative of an impact would you expect from a AA hitting coach with a zero for patience? Otherwise, he's pretty good with a hitting IQ of 80.

I don't know, but I wouldn't have any of my best hitting prospects at that level.

Theoretically, some of the young players with poorer makeup (patience, temper?) might not do their best under his coaching. I suspect but could not prove that the effects might be rather slight. I would probably try it out with a good hitting prospect who also had good makeup/patience/temper. That 80 has to be worth something.

I would think that you would need patience with young players. I think I would take someone with less hitting IQ and more patience.
