Signing Draft Pick Question Topic

Question - if a draft pick states that he is happy with the offer, but weighing all of his options... is that a way of asking for more money? Or is he in fact ok with the contract offer?

I guess I am just asking if there is an actual benefit to increasing the offer amount.

Don't raise the offer unless he specifically asks you to. Some guys take a little longer to sign. If he's happy with the offer, he will sign for that amount if he does decide to sign. You just have to wait for him to make up his mind.
