Question I should know the answer to but I guess it never happened to me before. I signed a DII ineligible to a DIII team. He is listed as a soph, it won't let me redshirt him. How many seasons will he play? Only 3? if so it should let me RS him unless he will be a Sr5 even at DIII.

You can have Sr/5 in DIII, e.g. Lycoming in Naismith has one currently.
