Formatting help - table Topic

Hey everyone, I am looking for some help formatting HTML in these forums. I see other people do it all the time, but when I try, it all displays in plain text (both ie and ff). What am I doing wrong? I have the lists of all time nt appearances, second round appearances, etc all ready but want to post it in a table so it's easier to read. So if somebody could help me I would really appreciate it!

If you click on "forum codes" just below the messages, but about the type box you should be able to see all the forum codes used if you want to post links etc.

Sometimes you can copy and paste standings or ratings using IE, but doesn't always work.

I know on more than a few occasions trying to post a .jpg using <.img> but it didn't show up.

Thanks... I don't think that covers HTML though? Does it? Like in mr polos thread greatest rpi of all time, he uses tables to display the top ten lists. If u quote any of them, the HTML shows up. But if I paste exactly what shows up under quoted, or any simple HTML, all the tags show up :(

no nothing about HTML or coding, but often when i post things here, the tags show up.

then i open the post, edit them out, and it works fine.
