Before we go any farther, a situation has come up that everyone should be aware of: Since we're able to raid each other's rosters during this draft (except for the keepers, of course), there stands a chance that someone with their last pick can, in a sense, go in and grab someone else's starting catcher - probably leaving them with hardly any recourse.

Three ways we can go here:

(1) Before the draft begins, get with the other owners in your draft and ask them if, after the fourth round, that they make each other's teams off-limits for the last round;
(2) Before the draft begins, make your Catcher (or some other position that would be affected) one of your keepers; or
(3) Just leave things the way they are and say "Let the cards fall where they may!"

Totally up to you guys in each draft - I don't care either way. Just something we thought you should be aware of...

Let the draft begin. Simhead777 first pick

(1) Hank Aaron - Milwaukee Braves.

As we go foreward in the first round, I suggest we vote whether to allowing raiding of each other's team after the 4th round.

Simhead votes - No raiding

thejuice, whawk, & contrarian where do you guys stand on raiding in the 5th round? I didn't see your votes? Just remember, if we have to use 1 free agent round to protect a player. This gives all the other teams in the league an advantage. Either way is fine with me, but I would like to know before the end of the 4th round. GL to all.

I'm the one who pointed out the possibility to juice; suffice to say I am firmly in the "no 5th round raiding" camp
