I know people probably hate all of the tell me about this situation threads, but I have one I've never seen.

I gave a D2 player a call and got the backup message, then got an email a few cycles later saying he didn't get the attention he thought he would get and I have a shot at him.

Why would a player reject things such as visits if you got an email saying he is interested now?

I think it's like, if you started recruiting someone on your own level with just visits, he'll reject the first few (sometimes). My guess is that you can just send a few more visits and he'll start accepting them.

Or just eval him a few times.

or someone better is recruiting him too

They almost always reject the first visit. Just keep offering them and they will be fine.
