5 durability/95 stamina. Pretty good pitching numbers. I have never had a guy like this before, would he be ok as a 25-30 pitch reliever? If he never gets a high pitch count, will he be able to pitch every couple days. I realize as a starter he would be fatigued, but if I kept an eye on him as a reliever will the durability be a problem?

I've used a pitcher like this as a closer with some success.

95 stamina, with that much stamina if he was good enough i'd use him as a spot starter, good for about 10 good starts a season, maybe 70 innings that way

He'll be pretty good in the bullpen. Especially if you can insure he gets a rest if he pitches two games in a row.

Not exactly the same, but I'm using http://www.whatifsports.com/HBD/Pages/Popups/PlayerProfile.aspx?pid=1130592 as a spot starter. I basically work him into the rotation every chance I get and set his PC like he's just a normal pitcher. I have an older staff and working him in has worked well so far. He's put up really good numbers in his 5 starts. Idk, how well it'll work, and I am a noob, but so far it's working.

My 5 ML starters have durability of 33, 25, 25, 22 and 18.

But for whatever reason, the 22 dur is a wimp, and seems to take 5x longer to recover than the 18 dur. What's going on ?

I have a 77 stam / 22 dur guy with the exact same problem. I lowered his TPC and MPC by either 5 or 10 each and haven't had that problem anymore. I now have him at 90 TPC, 110 MPC, 1 call bullpen.

This guy with similar ST/DU is one of the best closers in Ron Cey history:
