Removing from 40 roster Topic

I am trying to revmove a few players from my 40 man roster. One way it said to do it was to demote a player and when he clears waivers you can remove him. I demoted and it doesnt say that he cleared or is in the process of clearing. I tried to remove from 40 and it says he must clear waivers first.

advice?

Demote a BL player to AAA. Place on waivers. Remove from 40 when/if he clears.

That's the process. Or you can designate him.

Of course there's is always the chance he'll be claimed.
