Sorry but that would be almost as bad of an idea as the real NCAA doing it. SOS and strength of conference help form your rpi, which is the main thing the selection committee looks at in HD. If you cant make the NT with 64 teams, you dont deserve to be in.

Will HD create something like the CBI, or in-season tournaments during the non-con schedule? The latter would be pretty cool for D1

maybe if they did it for only 16 teams, call it the WIT (Whatifsports.com Invitational or WBI or something) but have no money able to be made i think the PIT gives a small boost to the conf coffers and maybe make it have no impact what so ever on prestige, maybe just a way to play another day or so, i personally hate how long the offseason lasts, even tho i play in tark, which is a turbo world. just a thought

Making a tourney is a reward. Not every team should make it we don't need any more tourneys.
