Am I good or lucky? Topic

I have a team in Kaline, Las Vegas.

I am fighting for a division title, in a weak division. My team record is in the top half of my league.

I went to the spot where you can see the ratings of your team compared to other teams. I have the lowest overalls of any ML team.

So am I good or lucky?

No. You are neither.

I would say overalls dont matter.

I would also ask how you are fighting for a division title in a "weak" conference, yet be in the top half of the the league record wise. Is the whole league weak?

I am in the bottom half of the top half. I have the 8th best record.

If you're asking a question based on overall ratings, I'm gonna go off the board and answer "stupid". You're stupid.

And I am not asking why my overalls are not higher. The point is I have an above averae team and the WORST overalls.

Overall may not be the best way to analyze a team, but there has to be some connection between overalls and team performance.

soxfan is just a hater. Pay him no mind.

There is some connection, but it's far from a perfect system. If you lined up all the records of all the teams in HBD, there would be a distinct correlation between performance and overall team rating. But there will always be outliers, especially with an "overall" rating calculus that is so far off much of the time.

This team is third from the bottom in Overall and is in the ALCS. I am not convinced that there is any correlation at all between success and overalls.

Good to be lucky

How is your fielding? If your overall is bad, but your team is doing well, that's probably your weakness, which really isn't the end of the world.

Actually my fielding is a big strength. Also I have the best #1 pitch.

Low in batting vsL and vsR. Also batting eye.

When you're looking at these are you looking at "Overall" or "All Positions"? Where do you rank in runs scored?

The period goes inside the quotations, smart guy.

If the whole sentence was quoted but since it was just the word "Stupid", it's in the right place.

Or you could go by this:

Both. Sort of. It really depends on where you're from. Traditionally, English had it outside of the quotation marks. However, American English allows for it to be put inside. Either way is usually right, but you should at least be consistent. Also check with your publisher/teacher/editor/etc to see if they prefer one method over the other.
