If you spent money on a player last year, does it have any effect this year (he didn't sign anywhere)?

I had a player who wasn't interested, but then became interested later on. I am pretty sure he was a drop down. I spent $600 on him, so does that count for anything... or his change of attitude?

Definatly you have a headstart and its easier espescially if you already kno he was interested, i dont think the engine resets his feelings towards but what i understand is you have to atleast spend the same amount or more.

At one time we were told you have a 25% head start. Your $600 would have the value of $150 of influence. But that was a long time ago...things may have changed
