This has been bothering me for a while.

I believe the bench coaches are the Brad Mills' of the world (when he worked for Sox, before he went to Astros) and less the Terry Francona's of the world.

And we're the manager/owner.

In my head, though, I can't shake the feeling in coach hiring that the bench coach is the Terry Francona.

Does any of that make sense? Am I right, wrong?
