Thought of new idea and I'll throw it out against the proverbial wall and see if it might stick...



Each Person would be dealt 5 Seasons Using Random ORG,

After everyone has their 5 seasons (5x24=120), the 5 remaining seasons would become the community seasons...

Each Owner would then be able to use any 3 of their 5 seasons along with any 2 of the 5 community seasons to build their team...

Since there are 125 seasons in the WIS database each one would be accounted for and there should be a nice variance among the teams...

$120M Cap, 60Live, No WW, DH, or Clones - Yes QS, PP, Trades, 6/2 AA AAA...And as always NO Coors or Mile High (this wont be softball)...

I like the idea. Any thought to going one step further and requiring exactly 5 players be taken from each season?

That is more Omaha style where you have to play the board and part of your hand.

My suggestion was for the case where a couple of the community seasons just happened to have an inordinate amount of desirable WIS players. It could theoretically be a case where everybody is building the majority of their team off of those 2 community seasons. I figured limiting the # of players from the community seasons would be a way to promote variety.

I was originally going to to make it OMAHA, but the 125 seasons worked out perfectly so I just went with the format above...
