Kentucky recruits are reporting that Calipari is promising playing time and starts because he expects to lose 9 players from the team.
3 seniors graduating.
6 potentially entering the draft (Dodson is the 6th reported to be entering or transferring).

4 returning players.

Cal better start recruiting some guys that actually stay at least 3 years.

Why? He goes deep in the tournament just about every year.

0 titles

you dont need to win a title to justify your system

Doesn't (or didn't) the NCAA have limits on how many scholarship players you could sign over a 2-year period? I know they created a rule like that to punish schools for not graduating players.

wouldn't you want your "system" to produce national championships?

Sure, but if his Memphis team had made one more free throw, they would have won an NT. Does the fact that he didn't win that game really invalidate his system?

Duke hasn't won a title in 9 years. Is Coach K's system no longer effective?

Rick Pitino hasn't won a title since 1996.

Tom Izzo hasn't won in 10 years, either. Too bad his "system" only works until he reaches the Final Four.

all three of them have won titles.....I'm not a fan of calipari at all, I think he's bad for the game of college basketball, I don't think he will ever win one. He gets great players don't get me wrong; but they are all one and done and the whole SAT thing at memphis the violations at UMASS...but he bolts and comes off without in dirt on his hands

Are you saying Cal will never win one or that he will win one and have it taken away later? Please clarify

Personally I would like to see Head Coaches get suspended for the year + offseason for major recruiting and ethical infractions.

If you break the rules the team should not be held responsible its the coaches fault and I think so many of the "Top" coaches that have run ins with the NCAA never really are hurt by it.
