Normal Compensation Chain? Topic

A question about compensation chaining in world CubsWin, S7-8. We just had our S8 draft.

In S7 ATL (currently HUN) signed type A compensation FA http://www.whatifsports.com/hbd/Pages/Popups/PlayerProfile.aspx?pid=1846558

from PHI. ATL's first round pick (#1 overall) was protected, so PHI got ATL's second round pick. They were awarded #34 overall (called a second round pick) before the supplemental round. They drafted Bruce Jacobson, who did not sign. PHI received a type D from this for S8.

In the S8 draft, this pick turned into #14 overall (still called a second rounder) and PHI was able to draft http://www.whatifsports.com/hbd/Pages/Popups/PlayerProfile.aspx?pid=3298344

Is this a normal compensation chain?

I didn't think you could get Type Ds for non-signing compensatory picks...?

What makes you think the pick "turned into" #14 Overall?

OK, just looked at the Draft History for the World. Send in a ticket to support; that is not the way it is supposed to work.
