We put in a configuration change on the server that affects how you connect to the Live server. Please let us know if you are still experiencing the cases where everyone is dropped. We will monitor the logs periodically to see if we are seeing anything different.

Keep in mind that there are two scheduled reboots of the servers each week - Tuesday and Friday at 5:00-5:30 am EST. At those times, new games will be locked and then at 5:30 am the servers will be restarted. Live should only be unavailable for about 5 minutes at that time.

The drop this morning was due to a new hardware being added, which was scheduled but not mentioned here. Sorry, I'll try to get scheduled downtime posted at least in the forums.

Here is an idea for you guys. Put in an option that allows a user to basically let sparky play LIVE games for them in a certain league.

For example,

Let's say I am in a progressive that I know my team sucks in. Rather than not play them, have a button we could click that would allow sparky to manage games when people wanted to get thier games in whether we were online or not. It would get people to get to mins without ruining the rest of the league, and who knows, it might get some non-live people to try out LIVE. Just a thought I thought of today to keep leagues going and to help people get games in, to eliminate the teams that only play 2 games total and ruin an entire league.

Sounds like a great idea bastan to have an option that would let you play game live a game that's about to sim, perhaps limit it to games due within 1 day ...

There'd be no reason to limit what Bastan is suggesting, which is that owners who do not want to play with a specific (i.e. lousy) team, allow THAT team to be managed by Sparky in live games.

why cant the owner, just exit out and enter back in through the watch live link?
