i know this is kinda old but WTF happened to my team? we were up 12 at the half to a team we had beat by 25 on the road in the regular season and we end up losing by 13.

yes they just had 2 guys do all the scoring but i think this is kinda bogus. sorry for the rant i was just kinda ****** off. ive played this for a while and still dont understand why this kinda stuff happens.

Wow, got to love this one, a 50 point swing when the location gets more favorable (away to neutral) and WI-Parkside's gameplan was very similar, except for the fact that he played slowdown in game 2, and proceeded to score 53 points in the second half...beautiful.

Because IRL a team can't win on the road, then play the same team a few days later at home and lose. Never.

I'm merely lending creedence to his right to be ****** off about this happening...nothing more, nothing less.

Sigh. The defense and tempo were differant between games. -5 and all bets are off.

I see no 50 point swing colonels. Also, it appears he won because his team ran a -5 slowdown.

By all means he should be ******. I guess the bobcats, bulls, Knicks, Celts etc should all be ******. They beat the Nets, but ended up losing to them when clearly they were not the underdog. This should never happen, right? A team beats a team, then losing to them even while being the more talented/favorite in game? No way.

I just dont get it. I ran the same settings and he just changed his to -5. i dont care about losing but just how it happened.

colonels believes that sims should vary less than real life games, if i remember correctly. no need to go down that road again

Your offensive stats stayed fairly similar, but his jumped. Why? Well, the first stat that jumps off the page is him shooting 61% from the field in the second half. He missed 13 shots in the second half. Of those possible 13 rebounds, he got 8 of them, which led to 8 SCP. Compare that to the first half when you rebounded 12 of his 14 misses. Also, he only turned the ball over TWICE in the second half, while you turned it over 7 times. He also went 12-14 from the free throw line and 3-7 from beyond the arc.

I'm not trying to defend everything about HD here, just point out that it was not some huge engine dump. To me, it looks like he just shot a high percentage in the second half. When he did miss, he hit the offensive glass hard. He also got to the line, where he hit a good percentage of his shots. I do admit there are times the engine acts strangely, but I just do not think this is one of them.

A month from now, I wonder how many of these threads we'll see. My guess is about 5x as many as we see now.

The game is definitely messed up now and I have lost all respect for it. lol just kiddin but stuff like this ********** me off. oh well im done with this......
