Changing offense Topic

So in DIII I ran a motion offense and had a successful program. I moved to DII and the school I went to is a Triangle.

I am having a bear of a time and have come to the conclusion I am recruiting for Motion and not for the triangle. The Triangle is a much more stringent offense with certain requirements where with a motion I could take a defensive stud in the post but not a great scoring option and still be a viable contendor.

So with that said I am thinking about switching to a motion offense. I realize the impact this will probably have on my short term success. Would it be worthwhile to up my practice in the motion to 30 minutes?I know it would come at a loss in overall stats but my teamis young (mainly soph and freshman) but I was figuring the gain at the end of the season would be worth it for next years success.

I've done that before, putting 25 minutes in the new offense. When my starter's IQs were C+, I switched over

make the switch if that is what you know how to recruit for...also, while running the old offense and practicing to get your IQ up, why not set it to run the new offense if you have a big lead later in games. I think that the game experience will speed IQ development.

I never thought about the game experience. Good call and thank you both for your feedback.
