Didn't we say that past award winners would also be a part of future leagues? (season 1,2 and 3 Cy Young and MVP)

And to lower the league ERA, wouldn't one put great pitchers and defenders in the draft pool with average/poor hitters?
5/22/2010 9:14 AM
Well, I am going to include the Cy young winners and MVP winners, provided they are not already in the draft pool.
I did provide good pitchers for the draft pool and I added mostly good defenders to the draft pool, in order to assist in lowering the league ERA. That said, playing with any season from 1994 until about 2005 is going to result in a league ERA over 5, no matter what.

I'll be back with Cleveland and not Seattle!
5/22/2010 10:41 AM
I'll be back....ONLY....if the draft is deeper , teams that need 5 to 7 picks are to choose from PT scrubs by rd5

it has to be that you can still draft a good full time postional playerin those later rd's....they dont have to be superstars , but they have to be able to hit over .270
5/22/2010 10:48 AM
Or you could just deck each team 2 picks- this way the later rounds are a bit more rife with talent.
5/22/2010 1:35 PM
definitely more relief pitchers...
5/22/2010 1:55 PM
I will play with the draft pool a bit.
