Fewest play minutes for a starter Topic

I promised a start to get a recruit. I do not really want this guy in the game.

Assuming I have to start him, what is the way I can get him in for the fewest amount of time in a fatigue system? (Or do people recommend using "Target Minutes" for this instance?)

I am thinking the way to go is set him at Fairly Fresh while the guy listed as his backup is listed at Tired.

I also thought that setting his Foul Trouble to "Less Aggressive".

Any other ways to get more minutes for the backup player than the starter?

I am thinking the way to go is set him at Fairly Fresh while the guy listed as his backup is listed at Tired. I did this and my "promisee" got about 15 MPG. Don't set him to mop up, because even if you have him on the depth chart as the starter, he won't start/play.

I also thought that setting his Foul Trouble to "Less Aggressive". This might work.

Any other ways to get more minutes for the backup player than the starter? Just a little added info, I think regardless, late in the game, if its close, the starters are going to be in, period...thus you can't really control the late game situation.

Is there some way to tell a specific player to play close/aggressive defense?

Not to my knowledge
